Recently, at the International Federation of Placenta Associations (IFPA), Dr Mancy Tong presented her first plenary presentation promoting fetal membrane research at the 2019 meeting in Buenos Aires. In support of her many contributions to fetal membrane research, Dr Tong was awarded the Elsevier New Investigator Award - IFPA's oldest and most prestigious award for early career investigators.
